Biography

Farzaneh Salari holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tehran and a master's degree from Amirkabir University of Technology. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Bioinformatics from Amirkabir University of Technology in fall 2019. She began her collaboration with Razi University in 2021 and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Basic Sciences.

During her time at Razi University, she has taught numerous courses, including Fundamentals of Computer and Programming, Advanced Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Principles of Operating Systems, Principles of Computer Systems, Machine Language and Assembly, Databases, and Introduction to Theory of Computation.

Her primary research interests lie in bioinformatics and image processing. Within bioinformatics, she takes a problem-oriented approach, with a particular interest in genome assembly and reconstruction. More broadly, when addressing various challenges in this field, her inclination is to apply machine learning methods. In image processing, her work specifically focuses on image watermarking.
