Saheb Foroutani Far

Biography

Saheb Foroutanifar, born in 1981, is an Associate Professor on the faculty of the College of Agriculture at Razi University of Kermanshah. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Yasuj University. He then pursued and obtained a Master's degree in Animal Genetics and Breeding from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, culminating in a Ph.D. in the same field from the University of Tehran.

Since 2012, he has served continuously at Razi University. During this time, in addition to teaching specialized courses in animal genetics, breeding, and biotechnology, he has supervised and advised numerous Master's and Ph.D. theses, playing a key role in mentoring a new generation of specialists in this field.

His research primarily focuses on quantitative and molecular genetics, bioinformatics, genomics, and the identification of genetic markers linked to important economic traits in livestock. The outcomes of his work are evidenced by numerous publications in reputable domestic and international journals, presentations at scientific conferences, and the development of practical applied projects.
