Ahmad Bazgir

Biography

Dr. Ahmad Bazgir received his bachelor's degree in forestry engineering from Lorestan University in 2012 and his master's degree in forestry from Tehran University in 2015. He received his PhD in forestry from Lorestan University in February 2021. Due to his scientific and research achievements during his studies, he was recognized as an elite by the National Foundation of Elites.

He began his official collaboration with Razi University in September 2024. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Natural Resources Engineering at the Faculty of Agriculture. During this time, he has taught various courses, including socio-economic issues of forests, forest policy, forest economics, urban forestry, forest ecology, and silviculture, in undergraduate programs at Lorestan University and currently at Razi University. Also, the courses he usually teaches in graduate courses are research methods, supplementary forest policy, and social issues of forests and development. His main topics of interest are forest socio-economic issues, forest policy, and urban forestry.
